Re: Fringe: Pilot

I do recall reading some details about season 5 years ago. I don't remember any. I recall them sounding kinda interesting but not enough to ever go back to the series.

Re: Fringe: Pilot

I stopped partway through S4. I never loved the show but it was pretty good. But the direction they went after S3 just lost me completely.

Re: Lower Decks: Envoys

The show starts rough but definitely improves. Their relationship is still toxic at times but it's funnier and more tolerable. Tendi and Rutherford are great though. The B-plot of this episode was great. And the A-plot had some nice moments but, yeah, hard to get over the fact that it's all Mariner'...

Re: DS9: Prodigal Daughter

Its also a shame that any extra time she may have had was stolen by Vic Fontaine AKA DS9's Neelix. Oh BS he did. Chuck already called people out for grossly overstating how much screentime he had over the last 2 seasons. He was done poorly in his first episode, that's all. Yes, he was a major chara...

Re: SG-1: The Lost City

There was a legitimate argument that shutting down the Stargate may convince the Goa'uld to leave us alone as there was little evidence as to the strength of their current space navy - just because they had this capability 3000 years ago doesnt mean they still did. "And anyway we have our naqadah e...

I like Keller but I did really miss Beckett too. I really liked him.

Teyla didn't get a whole lot latter on besides being pregnant. Sheppard and McKay did dominate a bit too much.

Re: Lower Decks - Second Contact

So while there is some improvement later on, it's difficult to remove the stench of the first episode(s), as the whole point of a pilot is to be an introductory to the characters of the series. As the old expression goes "build a thousand bridges, no one calls you a bridge builder, fuck a goat, eve...

Re: SGA - This Mortal Coil

I do wish they'd done a little more with the clones than killing them off right away. I agree it felt really cheap.

Carter had her moments. I can't remember a ton of specifics and do recall thinking that she was toned down, that is true, but I still think she had some good stuff that season too.
