Re: The War Prayer (B5)

History teaches, perhaps, very few clear lessons. But surely one such lesson learned by the world at great cost is that aggression, unopposed, becomes a contagious disease. Starting a fight, no matter the reason, always spreads aggression. Not opposing it in a constructive manner establishes it as ...

Re: WhiteDragon25's Voyager Rewrite Notes!

Both Seska and Suder go along with this ludicriously suicidal plan, because they both know they're going to die anyways when they reach the Federation, so why not die on their own terms, killing as many Borg as possible before taking their precious Transwarp Hub with them too? Seems rather unlikely...

No it isn't lower cost? I don't know how to explain this?
I think he's saying that Hollywood spends more on one production than Broadway spends on ten.

Re: Could Hollywood just dissapear in the next 5-10 years?

Let's suppose blockbuster movies started opening on Netflix and the like instead of at theaters. Let's further assume that blockbuster movies would be charging $10 per view before some kind of "General Release". To compare how much money is made, let's use Doctor Strange as an example. It grossed $6...

Bamboo is overly green and overly leafy. The shadow cast does not reflect the bamboo. Walls behind are too white.

Hair is simultaneously heavily gelled and messy, hat does not properly cover head, eyes are too long vertically compared to horizontal, missing nose, arms are too short, bow tie looks weird, promotes smoking, rectangular eyes, lack of pupils, ambiguous gender, impossible hair color.

The Xerox think take that invented the computer mouse, desktop icons, email, and the internet. I think your giving Xerox a bit too much credit here. They didn't invent the internet , email as we understand it dates back to RFC 561 (And even older systems on time sharing computers), and Douglas Engl...

Re: WhiteDragon25's Voyager Rewrite Notes!

I'll try to describe it as gently as I can: it's like Tabasco mixed with Eyedrops. The eyedrops are your season summaries and a few of your character summaries (much of Chakotay's, Locarno's and Tuvok's springs to mind). It's serious and arguably more credible that what actually occurred (though I h...

The trivial way would be to screen everyones first post, then allow unlimited posting. Would add admin overhead though.
