What's your point? What does that have to do with Israel condeming children to slow horrible deaths? Did the six year old with diabetes vote for Hamas? Or are you trying to argue that all these atrocities fall under "justified attempts to root out Hamas, civilian deaths are just unavoidable oopsies"?

yeah, it's weird the extremes of the argument.

* You can't be Pro-Palestine without being Pro-Hamas

* You can't be Pro-Israel while being against Netanyahu

Yup, despite the line being pretty darn clear: I'm pro-people-living-their-life and anti-killing-people-with-different-lifestyle.

US abstained on a vote in the UN to demand a cease fire in Gaza and people are saying its a sign of the end times because "USA betrayed Israel." So attacking communities that can't even defend themselves and leaving the survivors to starve to death is God's holy command! Not killing each other, that's got to be the antichrist!

What is this, the 11th century?

The only people betraying Israel, are it's own citizens. Specifically the far right nut-jobs that country seems to have in spades.

UN resolutions are musical chairs.

People vote knowing the others will veto it.

They're meaningless, sadly.

That basically describes the UN overall.

It's pretty good for distributing relief but even that is prone to massive corruption.

Hey, you just summed up my wedge issue.

Seriously, why is "just leave folks alone, damn it" so controversial a stance?!

It's Xenophobic avarice. It's always xenophobic avarice.
