Full Metal Panic!

This forum is for discussing Chuck's videos as they are publicly released. And for bashing Neelix, but that's just repeating what I already said.

Indeed. This is going to be interesting.

How long did you wait, out of curiosity?

Awesome. One of my favorite anime of the early 2000s.

The premise is simple for the uninitiated.

We're in an alternate early 2000s where we still got flip phones but there's giant mechs in the military. The Soviet Union is still a thing, China is split into north and south and the story is just focused on high school shenanigans

Well, that gives me an idea of how long my wait will be. :/

My own anime series request was put in four years ago, so I guess that bodes well.

It's here!

I found funny Chuck's joking about Tessa's age. Granted that he still doesn't know what makes her (and Kaname) so special and why she is in command of high tech submarine.

Ah yes, the anime I bounced HARD off from... while I loved it's comedy season Fufmou.

I just found it's constant switching between light-hearthedness and EDGE to be jarring. One moment throwing explosives at a packed corridor full of teens is supposed to be HILARIOUS but the next moment we are going to be treated to a EXPLOSIONS BLOW PEOPLE UP scene where someone dies in our arms weeping or something. And we seemingly can switch between these two at the drop of the hat.

Should we tell Chuck that the sign read Women's Sofuto Baaru Section. Basically it just says Women's Soft Ball Club room. >D

Chuck thinks he's seen anime weirdness.

Wait til he gets to the Fumoffu season of this series and sees the Charge of the Bonta-Kuns.

You aint seen half of the weird and dark s#it that anime can show you. Thats a deep, dark, and bottomless rabbit hole. The minute you think you've seen s#it, it drags you down to depths your soul was never brave enough to imagine.
