Re: Tea thread

Oh a tea thread! I rather like Earl Grey Moonlight that Adagio has, I also like the lapsang souchong sample I got. They also let people make their own blends so I like one called Sherlock.

Re: What's the weirdest reason you've been banned from somewhere?

Back when I was in the Yugioh the Abridged series fandom was mistaken for a spammer in the chat room once. I had answered yes to the mod/host getting my attention but he was a fast ertyping so he'd asked me a second question so it looked like I answered yes to being the troll. I was very confused an...

Re: Eat any good books lately Worf?

Oh yes my Sci Fi lit class read Out of the Silent planet, did never get around to finishing the others. I believe Out of the Silent planet was our book that walks the line between the two sides of speculative fiction. Or did I read it for the Fantasy class, I don't remember now same prof.

Re: What makes a super hero "super?"

More great responses, guys. I'm particularly intrigued by the world that has everyone with some "super" talent. Wasn't there a novel that featured this? For some reason I'm remembering "Xanth?" I'll look that up and get back to y'all. Romulan Republic mentioned sidekicks. I thought immediately of G...

Re: Eat any good books lately Worf?

Reading "The Curse of Capistrano" aka The Mark of Zorro, which has a lot less sword fighting and a lot more holding people at pistol point. Odd to read a book where you already know the twist ending because it became who franchise of things.

Re: How long could a zombie apocalypse actually last?

I think in the TV Show the Walkers appear to be actually decaying so while it's slower than actual human decomposition at some point the brain will liquidity. Apparently in real bodies it's like 20 days for that part of decomposition to finish, which is likely why zombies don't decompose like normal...

Re: Doctor Who S10

At this point it almost feels odd to get episodes where we meet the doctor from the companion's pov. Was laughing at the bits I recognized from Shada. I also feel that Capaldi is great as The Doctor, just a lot of the episodes just didn't go where I wanted them to. Mostly I started to hate Clara. I ...
