Re: Atlantis: Ghost in the Machine
This seemed to stem from O'Neill's reaction to the first human Replicators (which weren't actually related to the Asuran Replicators, but that's getting into the weeds). Back when Carter got Fifth to trust them and he helped them escape... and then O'Neill forced the betrayal. The morality of this ...

Re: Atlantis: Ghost in the Machine
Definitely one of the episodes that's sorta ruined by its conclusion. Guess you can't send off a season 1 character without them doing something morally awful.

Re: SG1 Maternal Instinct
I wish Oma wasn't a Caucasian woman. Granted they have to get actors as they can, and they shoot in Vancouver, but it would have been a nice touch. Sela Ward was a fairly well known actress from the early to mid nineties. The Stargate showrunners likely thought it was a coup to have her play a recu...

Re: SG1 Maternal Instinct
That SGA episode annoyed me so much "Oh man, a planet safe from wraiths forever" Just like... take the gate out of orbit, put it on the ground. You have the technology. You have spaceships. This is literally a planet that solves ALL of your problems. The wraith can't go there. They will LITERALLY ge...

Re: SG1: Secrets
When you think about it, if killing someone with a car was an option for Hammond, Senator Kinsey wouldn't have lived past season 1.

Re: SG1: Secrets
Stupid question: was it ever established, definitively, not to be a coincidence? It was not. Only time he's mentioned again is when O'Neil and Homer Simpsons share memories, and Homer seems convinced the NID did it (Which feels like the logical answer). I'll say that this episode benefits from bein...

You say that like Vancouver doesn't have a giant thriving Asian community. Chinese, South Asians and Filipinos combined account for 26 Percent of the p...

Re: Beast Wars - The Agenda
For Ravage, it's been ... what? centuries since the "Great War"? And he's upgraded his robot form into completely different, much more practical design. But he still transforms into a cassette tape. And I can't help but love it. Even better, his high-tech stealth ship has a cassette player. Even be...

Re: Beast Wars - The Agenda
Making a thread for all three parts of this story. Looking forward to this one because I donated for it! (And a lot of season 3, hopefully that follows soon after) That was over 4 years ago! Man Chuck's queue line is long! My favorite line in the set of episodes is between Silverbolt and Black Arac...

Re: SG1: There But For The Grace of God
They rarely ever use nukes in a situation where they might hit civilians. Most of the time it's entirely against space ships filled almost entirely with combatants.
