It was written in a pseudo journal forum so it varied about this trip to Mars and the inhabitants there. It was good pulpy fun though and it started me searching out sci fi...

Re: The Expanse - season three

Re: The Expanse - season three
Yeah, I totally missed the part where Fred Johnson was gonna be "replaced" by the Mormons when they first introduced him in the show. It made so much sense that he would soon steal the Nauvoo in season 2.

Re: The Expanse - season three
I was one who completely missed the first season, but I bought season one with a giftcard from Bestbuy. I was able to binge it about a month before season two came out so I was all into the second season. I just watched season one again.

Oh most definitely, though in his own cryptic way. I finally did it. I ordered the first three expanse books on Amazon. Hopefully I will have some free time this Summer to read.MadAmosMalone wrote: ↑Sat Jun 02, 2018 7:09 pm Am I the only one who gets a serious "David Bowman" vibe from Miller?

I actually loved that movie. I like any movie with Chris Cooper. I never read the book it is based on though.

Re: Worst Comic Book/Short story/novel movie adaptation
Yeah, there are rare categories where it is a bad adaptation but it is a good movie. The first movie that comes to mind is the Studio Ghibli film "Howls moving castle". The movie is great but it pretty much alters the entire third act from the book including changing the antagonists.
