Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars has a new Season.
Disney on the other hand, well this announcement is supposed to be a "kiss and make up" invite to the fans. Oh, and were still not producing stories you want. We are not including stories we could. And it's on OUR on streaming service, so pay up or ship off. Seems to be like its a bunch of hype and...

Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars has a new Season.
And hey, I like the Mando's and Ashoka, but I'd honestly rather see Son of Dathomir. They aren't saving the series as if they were, it would be WAY longer than 12 episodes, it seems to me they are bringing back episodes THEY want that can tie into New Canon. TCW is the basis for new canon. Doesn't ...

Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars has a new Season.
"New season" isn't accurate. The series is getting it's intended ending.
What was so bad about the Son of Dathomir comic? They new episodes are going to be the siege of Mandalore, we're getting the follow-up to that story anyway.

I like the undeveloped Foundation-esque idea, it turns the normally drama killing utopianism into a source of drama:

Re: The Legend of the Galactic Heroes discusion thread
Even in A New Hope they were all assumed to be the same size. And indoctrinated at youth is not the same thing as the real Storm Troopers either. Like the Brownshirts the movement largely came form disillusioned vetrans, but they could also be compared to the KKK without masks. The Stormtroopers of...

Re: Chuck's thoughts on KOTOR 2, review, & Kreia?
Speaking of KOTOR have your read the KOTOR comics? The main character despite being a failed padawan. Is in my mind the shining example of what a Jedi SHOULD be. He neither accepts his so called destiny or runs from but faces it. When his name is cleared and is given the chance to be a jedi he trun...

Re: Chuck's thoughts on KOTOR 2, review, & Kreia?
Vows of chastity are pretty normal for chivalric orders. Ki-adi's situation was retconned into being an exception because of a Cerean population crisis. It's not like the films or anything else have made out that Jedi are the ONLY good guys and everyone else is dirt, just that they play a central ro...

Re: Clone Wars: Arc Troopers
Even before the "Grand Army of the Republic" was a thing, the Republic had to have some kind of standing military force. I mean, where did all those obviously non-Clone ship officers we see come from? Surely there was a stand out from those ranks they could have used instead of a random bounty hunt...

Re: Chuck's thoughts on KOTOR 2, review, & Kreia?
I'm curious do you mean Lucas more extensively explained the Force and Jedi with the prequels etc. or that he has subsequent to the original trilogy come up with the definitive complete account of the Force and Jedi? I ask because as I mentioned earlier it seems like the Force is one of those thing...

Re: Chuck's thoughts on KOTOR 2, review, & Kreia?
My only problem with that is you're using the Reconstruction Answer IE the after the fact answer that paints the Jedi as flawed but good people which followed the deconstructions like Kotor 2 and such. which when put into context of the PT makes the goddamn thing fly apart since several of the key ...
