Re: Beast Wars: Before the Storm

I loved it when he talked to his dino head. I always assumed the T-rex head had the T-rex brain. It was like Megatron's pet and really who else is he going to talk to. The rest are probably stupider then the T-rex. I always took it as a nod to the "right hand cat" Bond villians sometimes had. And t...

Re: Beast Wars: Bad Spark

Inferno a pretty good counterargument that Black Arachnina good moment were cause she was a maxmal protoform It's worth pointing out that, at this point in the series, there are only three Predacons who aren't from Maximal protoforms: Megatron, Tarantulas, and Waspinator. Even Dinobot II from the 3...

Re: Beast Wars: Coming of the Fuzors Part 1&2

It would be nice if just sometimes the character with the southern accent wasn't stupid and violent. I think the writers were going less for "stupid Southern hick" and more "Old West gunslinger" when they came up with Quickstrike's accent. Of course, Quickstrike pretty much ended up being another v...

Re: The Corps is Mother The Corps is Father (B5)

I'll agree this is one of the strong S5 episodes. "The Very Long Night of Londo Mollari" "Day of the Dead," and the last few episodes starting from "Movements of Fire and Shadow" are some of the jewels in an otherwise ho-hum season, in my humble opinion.

Re: Star Trek (DS9): Valiant

I believe I read somewhere (most likely Memory Alpha), that part of the reason Nog doesn't challenge Watters for command of the Valiant was, in part, due to his upbringing as a Ferengi. Granted, Nog was one of the first of his race, if not *the* first, to openly break with Ferengi traditions, but th...

Re: Beast Wars: Aftermath

Oh, I don't doubt Starscream's abilities, I criticise the show's inconsistent portrayal. Starscream shows up and the show treats him with immense dread - it's practically going "Guys, a REAL fucking Decepticon is here. Optimus get your ass back here." But then when Bumblebee is captured, the show d...

Re: Shows I'd like to see Chuck review

I'd love to see him do more Transformers shows, from Beast Machines to the current Robots in Disguise series (kind of surprised he hasn't added clips from either that show or Rescue Bots in his intro). I'd especially love to see hear his pain when he gets to the horror that is Transformers: Energon ...

Re: Beast Wars: Aftermath

RID brought him back, and we had the same issues. The show presents him like he's the gravest threat yet... and then shows him acting like a buffoon (like escaping the Predacons by literally tripping over an alarm that kills them) and Bumblebee openly mocking his ineptitude. Personally, when you co...
