Proposal for future anime review: The Big O
"Petike, then don't just propose it, send some money over to Chuck, along with your request." Sorry, I unfortunately don't have many spare finances now, so no direct requests from me, for anything. :( Maybe in the future I'll finally donate a little. Quite honestly, I'd donate even for just general ...

Re: Star Trek Beyond
Confession time: I like the USS Franklin so much (such a cute itty-bitty starship, wooo !), I've even included it in a funny Trek fanfic I started slowly writing in July (it's a crossover, with a few characters and tech from various eras of the overall setting). This was the best of the Kelvin Timel...

Re: What is a good review for a newcomer to watch?
First Contact , the Star Trek TNG episode, from the fourth season. It has some thoughtful coda commentary in addition to the review itself. Similarly, the episode Darmok , from that same series' fifth season, has the same treatment. Review, then a thoughtful video follow-up. Of other Star Trek seri...

Re: TOS - Metamorphosis
I'll likely see about putting the original title version somewhere for historical purposes. Ironically, I can probably get away with posting the title only on Youtube, and the review only on Dailymotion, but not the whole thing on one or the other. I'm very, very sorry you have to keep dodgi...

Re: The Andromeda Strain
Finally, while they explained how the guns (in theory) couldn't kill a guest (and the novel described a scene where the gunslinger alters his gun to bypass this) they didn't explain how the primitive weapons in Medieval world and Roman World couldn't accidentally kill a guest. A great post, and yes...

Re: Areas where you'd respectfully disagree with Chuck
It is more a matter of completely underestimating the achievements of the past because we do things with cranes and bulldozers and lay people need to be educated, not told "it's aliens" when we don't know how a people did something that they clearly did do. Historically while this does sometimes ap...

Re: TOS - Metamorphosis
Is it just me, or have the TOS reviews started omitting the Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds cover intro they had until now, and replaced it with the generic opening sequence ? :( If it's about legal issues, I'm fine with that, but part of what gets me pumped for each Trek review, TOS included, is the ...

Re: I've started an SF Debris Wiki
All the reviews for Space: Above and Beyond, Firefly and the first reviewed episode of Raumpatrouille Orion have been covered. I'll be doing more Trek and B5 reviews shortly, but for now, I want to focus on getting some of the shorter series reviews done.

Re: I've started an SF Debris Wiki
Doing the Babylon 5 reviews again, until they vanish for a while. :D Might even finish them all, in a few hours at most. That being said this is a community project that you and others are under taking purely under your own effort separate and independent from chuck. So make sure that's known. If Ch...

Re: I've started an SF Debris Wiki
Because I pinned it. Tex, thank you ! I honestly had no idea you did that. Thanks. I'm genuinely humbled. Also, I've had a busy few weeks and months, work-wise and personally, so didn't have as much time to edit the wiki. Not even during the holiday season. But now, given all this quarantine worldw...
