Re: VOY - Unforgettable

I can easily see those auto turrets being hacked or malfunction with the 'weird thing of the week'. There is so much you can do to upgrade security in Trek. 1.) True authorized personnel barriers to sensitive areas. Whether it's security locks, active computer scanning, security codes, forcefields ...

Re: Voy - Renaissance Man

I mean unless every square inch is a city on that island there got to be some ecosystem. Quite, though most of England and Northern Ireland, and much of Wales, is of course farmland, which (as I'm pretty sure sfdebris points out in one of his reviews — maybe Insurrection or possibly DS9's Paradise?...

Re: Voy - Renaissance Man

The problem with having a command authorization for the ECH is obvious. The times it would be most needed would be when the crew is incapacitated and thus unable to provide such an authorization. Voyager being Voyager though, the show actually contradicted itself as they used command codes to activ...

Re: Why Walter Peck was wrong?

Or the director and the screenwriter portray him as a buffoon on purpose, because they loved Reagan policies, and how better way to dismiss the EPA and even the Nuclear Commission may making the character that should care about this things a buffoon and secondary antagonist to our "heroes", this is...

Re: Voyager Endgame - Janeway destroyed the federations hope

Good point about Star Trek 6. It is basically the same plot except for the fact that Star Trek 6 was forgotten. I would go as far as to say Star Trek 6 was retconned with the exception of the Khitomer Accords. Lets see: Praxis dooming the Klingon Empire? Didn't happen. The Klingons have pink blood?...

Re: Why Walter Peck was wrong?

The film needed a human "bad guy" for the middle of the film, Peck was it and Atherton played him brilliantly. Having another ghost baddie for the middle of the film would have devalued the climax at the end. It's nothing more or less than that, and I'm frankly astonished the depths people are going...

Re: Dragon Age: Inquisition

Anybody also feel the war table operations were just way too long. I swear I like parts of that mechanic because you have to pick an Advisor's method of dealing with it but they should have only taken an hour at longest. I swear there was one that took over 1400 hours later in the game and I just c...

At least it's a binary rule to fit in with the episode.
