Re: Assurances
I've been watching your show for a decade or so and it's been a consistent presence that has been often amusing, informative or both. Take the time you need to do what you need to do, this random internet stranger is pulling for you and will happily be here to see what you do next once you've gotten...

Re: 2020 Star Trek Restoration
This might be the wrong place to put this since it isn't Trek but I don't see any other spots for reporting it; The Behind the Scenes youtube video on Ghostbusters was apparently copy right claimed by Sony at some point.

Re: Futurama - Where No Fan Has Gone Before
I don't really have much to say about this, other than I love it. Both Futurama and Chuck's view on it. Futurama was as much a love letter to Sci-fi as it was a parody of it. I think that was what was missing about Disenchanted, Groening's follow up series with an emphasis on fantasy, the love and ...

Re: Here We Go Again (Updated with Restoration Progress)
They may have the ability to get someone to talk to, but they're still not immune. That's pretty much the crux of it right there. Their size gives them a voice that someone like SFDebris just isn't going to have. Their size also likely helps in getting those claims that do come in resolved rapidly ...

Re: Here We Go Again (Updated with Restoration Progress)
How do the guys at Cinemasins or Fan Theory TV on Youtube get away with it? They show huge chunks of the movies and films they "review" all the time. Might it be worth reaching out to them to try and see if whatever their solution could work? Top Cinemasins, for better or worse, has nearly 9 millio...

Re: SG-1: Solitudes
The big question is: Since they now had a functional DHD after this episode, why'd they keep using that jerry-rigged system that took like half a minute to open the gate and would sometimes screw up in weird ways? A pattern that becomes increasingly clear as SG-1 went on is that the writers hated a...

Re: Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Just saw that this is on the agenda for next week. Neat. No idea if Chuck has a whole bunch commissioned or just the first four, but interested to see how this goes all the same. (Given that its a long series, it'd take him forever to get through regardless.) One thing I'm really curious to see is ...

Re: SG-1: Jolinar's Memories/The Devil You Know
My biggest issue with these episodes and Sokar himself is really not so much with the episodes themselves but in what they represent; Even back when I watched the series air live, I felt it was a horrible copout how they never brought Judeo-Christian myth into the show's narrative beyond the limp So...

Re: They're Planning a Reboot of Alf
Dark gritty ALF where he secretly eat all the city's cats all while on the run from the Agents tasked with capturing him for examination and experimentation. Kind of like the TV movie but less fun. Honestly they could just do a series about the making of the tv show Alf if they want "Dark and Gritt...

Re: New Star Trek series staring Sir Patrick Stewart
Honestly even if this is just one season before Stewart retires (dudes nearly 80) I'm just glad his final curtain call as Picard won't be in that gods awful Nemesis. I'd actually be 100% ok if they just completely pretended that film didn't even happen. Patrick Stewart is a very old man. I have no p...
