Re: Anicent Chinese secret

When should we consider something "ancient" anyway? A thousand years old? That would mean William the Conqueror's invasion of England would be set to be "officially Ancient" in just 45 years. Do we have a term for something centuries old but not "ancient"?

Re: UK passing staunch gender bathroom law

Stupid question maybe, but why do we need to have our bathrooms segregated by sex anyway? I know I personally prefer it, but that's just because the line to the men's room is usually shorter and if all bathrooms were unisex if would mean that all bathroom wait times would be longer. Is it to "protec...

Re: Florida Social Media Law and the Disney Exception

Disney plus I guess? I mean that's a streaming service, not a social network, so maybe the Gina Carano thing informed wouldn't penalize Disney so Florida would keep that DisneyWorld money.

Re: Goodbye - no joke, hyperbole, or anything else

Glad to see you're allright yuka. I second Nealithi's advise to not read the News section threads. It's always draining for me to read them and when I participate in them I always end up putting my foot in my mouth. It's a good idea to stick to the reviews and scifi and fantasy.

Re: TNG - Reunion

I am surprise no one has comment that the fact that worf kill both candidates .. of course one lasted past the next generation run but one could name worf as the King Maker That is an interesting point. I wouldn't be surprised if say a hundred years after his death, Worf is one of those figures tha...

Re: Reimagining the Dominion War...

Maybe they transported a massive amount of the Dominion's version of industrial replicators and the raw components to make Ketracel White. Since the Jem Hadar are effectively ready for war in a week after they are "born" they just needed to dump their raw production materials in their relatively for...

Re: TNG - Reunion

Good episode, a sad thing is that I kind of wish K'ehleyr had lived and Alexander had died. The poor kid never really fit in on the show and suffered from tv show kid aging. K'ehleyr had depth to her that really did add a lot to Worf's character. Also, wasn't Minsk (the city Worf grew up in) in Bela...

Re: How Will Mass Effect's Story Continue?

They will never do this and it's probably for the best but if they were going to do a prequel, I'd want one on the Rachni Wars rather than something humanity did. I mean, this was a galaxy spanning war that happened because of reckless exploring and pushed the citadel races to the brink. There is so...
