Re: VOY - Natural Law
As someone who is also an Animorphs fan I have to ask who is familiar with that series riff on the ol PD. aka The Law Of Serrow’s Kindness. For those of you not familiar with the series I will sum it up in three words. “It’s about shame.” Animorphs also made it clear that said law was an overreacti...

Re: Beast Wars - The Agenda
In the first episode, when it looked like they had landed somewhere other than Earth (what with the two moons), Megatron was like, "So what? There's still loads of Energon here. We gather that up, conquer the universe, and Bob's your uncle." Trying to change the past seems to be something he only g...

Could be worse. They could have pulled a MK: Deception and given the new main kharacter a name that translates literally into "protagonist".Thebestoftherest wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 11:17 pm I do wish adaptations would stop making new main characters, a side character fine but it shouldn't be the main character it never turn out well.

Re: Decepticon only
Transformers Prime did a few Con-only episodes, usually centered on Starscream. One of them was a clip show, and another was a buddy comedy where Starscream and Knock Out deal with a zombie outbreak they caused.

Re: Dragon Age: Inquisition
I'm going to gamble by "didn't finish the story" Chuck meant he never bought the DLC? My largest problem with DA:I has always been that almost the entire 3rd act is behind that paywall. Because the base game, really, only gives you two acts. That said maybe there was just something else entirely, l...

Re: Is it finally time to re-adapt Animorphs?
To be honest the Megamorphs and Chronicles books don't need to be included in an adaptation. Of the Megamorphs books #1 is the only one that's plot relevant, and only because it's story is part of the main conflict. The other three are side stories that change nothing important, #2 is a needless tim...

Re: The CW DC "universe" (Smallville, Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Black Lightning)
I stopped watching Supergirl around that "Invasion" crossover they did with the other shows. The writing quality definitely dropped after the move to the CW, and it wasn't the best to begin with. I can't remember the name of the episode, but it was the one where Kara got captured by Cadmus that sank...

Re: Fanfic ideas you've had/would like to see.
Not much for me to say about this, I'm afraid, since my knowledge of Farscape is very limited. Our tastes certainly are different. Mass Effect is another on my list that I'm just not terribly familiar with, I'm afraid. Then I'm sure you would have no interest in my idea for a Farscape/Mass Effect f...

Re: The Legend of Korra Series Thread (Spoilers Allowed)
I had really wished Nick had given the creators more freedom to do what they wanted instead of forcing a quick ending for season 1, then allowing another season, then saying it's ok for 2 more additional one with a forced recap to save money. Korra's self discovery at the beginning of season 4 woul...
