Re: X-Files: Aubrey

I wonder if the writer of the episode ever read any of the Dune books. That's the only place I can recall the concept of generic ancestral memory being used. I'm kind of surprised Chuck didn't bring it up.

Re: The Walking Dead - "Guts"

Re: 5ive Days to Midnight

im not a fan of the end of part 3 with that woman dieing as it means 1 of 2 things either 1. fate cant be changed and the entire story is pointless 2. only our protagonist gets to change his fate i hate both of those as him saving her was legit the only good scene IMO hell you could build a series ...

Re: 5ive Days to Midnight

hell you could build a series out of that some one gets stuff from the future and tries to change peoples fates That show existed, it was called "Early Edition," from the mid-90s. It was about a guy who would get tomorrow's newspaper. I barely remember that show. A mystic cat brought the guy the ne...

Honestly I don't think it would change much, other than both of us trying to use the same identity. Ie socal security number, getting a driver's license would be difficult as the modern computerized would likely detect a conflict.

Re: TNG - "Up The Long Ladder"

The Mariposans appeared to have very basic cloning ability. They couldn't even vary the appearance of the clones. It's doubtful they had the capability of fixing blindness. Yeah that never made since to me either, how hard would it be to mix and match chromosomes, that way you could have up to 20 m...

Re: TNG - "Up The Long Ladder"

Some alternatives for the colonists in the original scenario: Freeze some of their current cells and make copies from that. There are a LOT of cells in the body, and they can keep making copies from those cells as needed, instead of making copies of new copies each generation. They will run out of ...

Re: 5ive Days to Midnight

My question here is the same I had when watching ''Minority Report'': why not just go where it isn't? In Minority Report, Cruise knows that Precrime only works in one state. Therefore go somewhere else in the country, wait it out, and suddenly you are a free man. Don't go looking for the crime scen...
