Re: How Will Mass Effect's Story Continue?

While I get the endings were not good, I never understood people being upset Shep doesn't survive. In those cases, Shep gives his/her life saving the galaxy. What more could you want? And the obsession with a golden ending seems childish. You're fighting against impossible odds to prevent the xenoci...

Of the th...

Re: Rock & Rule

They seemed oddly obsessed with rock and roll in the 70s and before you say the movie was released in 1983 I'll remind you that it started production in 1978. When it comes to musicals, the 80s had a big obsession with the 70s anyway. Either by being in love with it, or despising it. Which is weird...

Re: Babylon 5: Thirdspace aka the Proto Mass Effect

i always thought B5 was more a general influence, the Babylon station is for all intents and purposes the Citadel. I never factored in Thirdspace...because it's so forgettable. Both ME and Thirdspace rely on HPL worship. The similarities are striking. Well spotted.

Re: The Expanse - Season 5 (Spoilers!)

It's not as bleakly nihilistic as Game of Thrones or Walking Dead but the crew of the Roci play well off another and their interactions are usually pretty light and enjoyable.
