Re: Star Trek Strange New Worlds (Season 2)
To paraphrase Jurassic Park, the writers were so occupied with whether or not they could that they didn't stop to think if they should. I needed to listen to some Jerry Goldsmith after this to remind me what GOOD Star Trek music sounds like. I appreciate an attempt to try new things, but some things...

Re: Strange New Worlds
Also the fact that he hasn't touched Discovery since reviewing the Season 2 finale, nor Picard after the third episode, tells a lot too. I imagine in the new year we should be seeing more Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks episodes among the new content from Trek, with maybe some Prodigy too. I for ...

Re: Star Trek Dsicovery: Season Three
I get the feeling that the primary reason that Michael is interested in what caused the Burn is that she's afraid that her and/or her mother and/or Discovery's time-traveling might have accidentally caused it. Before she moves on in this future she has to be assured that she was not the cause of it.

I noticed no score or prizes for this one. I know Into Darkness didn't have one but since it came out on Christmas it was assumed to be zero. I assume that Easter doesn't carry that same connotation.
So if I were to speculate, the score for this one should be a 7 or 8?

Re: Futurama - Where No Fan Has Gone Before
https://sfdebris.com/videos/animation/futurama1.php This definitely has to be up there as far as affectionate Trek parodies go. TOS is obviously the most iconic and it getting this sort of episode makes sense, though I do wish TNG and DS9 could have gotten something like this in a show at some poin...

Re: Review: Short Trek: Escapist Artist.
He has a decade to grow the stache in. This feel more like Mudd than his appearance in the series. Collecting the multiple bounties on his head himself using androids is a scheme he would so get behind. You know, it would be fun to have a Short Trek series that covers all time periods. So one episo...

Re: DIS - Point of Light
Just wait till Chuck gets to the spinning conference room scene in one of the upcoming episodes. I don't remember which one it was, but the camera just seems to be going around and around while listening to the various characters talk.

Yeah, but they were “sabotaging” the small ship/drones in that scene. It wouldn’t work with any other song.

Re: Star Trek: Into Darkness
Speaking of the score, out of curosity, is this really worse than Star Trek V?
Every other film being better I can understand, but V too? I seem to remember Chuck ripping that one a new asshole like no other Trek film.
