Re: PIC: The End is the Beginning.
We don't really know what state the Romulans are in during Picard. Because in the last episode, the Zhat Vash, a super secret organization that's been able to hide itself for centuries, was able to gather a fleet of 200 ships in like a day. That kind of suggests that the Romulans are still a major p...

Re: Superman AS: World's Finest
Luthor was still a "legitimate businessman" during Superman: TAS. He couldn't just go around building power armors for himself. Also, at this point in the DCAU, there hasn't been as much exposure to alien tech or magic. Superman was still working with STAR Labs to figure out Kryptonian technology.

Re: PIC: The End is the Beginning.
I'm just so disappointed at all the missed opportunities in the show. I never liked the whole Romulan supernova thing because it didn't make any sense. But since they've decided to make it canon, there was so much they could have done with it but they were just too lazy. They could have had Picard t...

Re: DIS - Such Sweet Sorrow, Part 2
The writers are basically treating this like a superhero show. The Red Angel suit is pretty much an Iron Man armor. It can just do whatever they want it to do, like the Iron Man armor in Infinity War. They even had it fly around like the Iron Man armor and it has the same HUD.

Re: DIS - Perpetual Infinity
So the Discovery writers have zero computer literacy, right? Not being able to delete the Sphere data being a problem makes no sense. The data is stored on physical drives. What's to stop them from just moving all the data to one drive, take the drive out and vaporize it? Why go through the pointle...

Re: DIS - Through the Valley of the Shadow
The Sphere data can't be deleted but it can be transferred. So transfer it to an independent computer and vaporize the computer. It shouldn't be that complicated. They should have just done the classic Trek thing of revealing that Sphere Data was its consciousness and now it's spread throughout all ...

Re: Star Trek changing direction
Lower Decks is definitely going in the right direction. Most of the conflicts are a result of misunderstandings rather than people actually being evil or bad. Problems get resolved when people realize that no one was intentionally being bad and they're all shake hands and become friends.

Re: Reviews of Star Trek: Picard season one
I found it to be pretty disappointing. The biggest problem is that they didn't develop any of the major plot points very well and they abandoned interesting ideas for dumb ones. For example, the whole issue with synths was very poorly explained. It seemed like the writers didn't really understand ar...

Re: The Arms Dealer in The Last Jedi
None of that really matters in the Star Wars universe anyway. The last time rich assholes tried to exploit everyone, Palpatine had them all assassinated to make sure no one can challenge his power. The same thing would have happened to the Canto Bight aristocrats after the First Order wins. Can I a...
