The writers are basically treating this like a superhero show. The Red Angel suit is pretty much an Iron Man armor. It can just do whatever they want it to do, like the Iron Man armor in Infinity War. They even had it fly around like the Iron Man armor and it has the same HUD.

So the Discovery writers have zero computer literacy, right? Not being able to delete the Sphere data being a problem makes no sense. The data is stored on physical drives. The Sphere data can't be deleted but it can be transferred. So transfer it to an independent computer and vaporize the computer. It shouldn't be that complicated. Lower Decks is definitely going in the right direction. Most of the conflicts are a result of misunderstandings rather than people actually being evil or bad. Problems get resolved when people realize that no one was intentionally being bad and they're all shake hands and become friends.
