Re: Issue with new Video Player
Same here. Can't watch the video. Every time I click on it it opens sketchy looking ads in a new tab. I saw someone on Twitter saying that if you click anywhere else except the triangle it works, but nope, not for me.

Re: My Little Pony: Thanksgiving Show 2
I love Chuck's line (paraphrased) "They start trash talking like teenagers who've found out they're mildly good at something"

Re: The Mandalorian
Not to beat a dead horse No offense but that's kind of what you're doing. I mean, we finally got this thread back to talking about The Mandalorian after it went off the rails for a bit, and you're bringing up the same points that have talked about to death in other threads. And talking about the fi...

Re: The Mandalorian
Funny, in Linkara's stream he was just talking about how TLJ takes over any discussion about Star Wars. This thread (and pretty much any Star Wars thread on this forum) proves him right. Anyways, The Mandalorian. I think a lot of people (including me) assumed all the side characters who appeared in ...

Re: The Mandalorian
OK, that whole post was insane, but one bit especially stood out to me. It's established and accepted Star Wars cannon, especially by the white males that Yoda is one of the top most powerful Force uses of all time. Like, why the hell do white males "especially" think Yoda is strong? Out of all the ...

Re: Areas where you'd respectfully disagree with Chuck
The whole "Should Batman kill the Joker?" thing is such a false dichotomy. IIRC the Boston Marathon Bombing killed 6 people (though it injured many more). One of the bombers was shot by the police, and the other one might get the death penalty. Even if he dosn't, he's never getting out of jail. Yet ...

Re: The Mandalorian
I thought the first episode was decent, a 6/10. But the 2nd episode gets a 3/10 from me. It was a filler episode. The whole "get the ship parts" bit was nothing but a distraction from the main storyine, and in an eight episode series, there should NOT be filler. NOT EVER! I just get the feeling Dis...

@ChrisTheLovableJerk Even for a post that's taking oddly specific rumors at face value, that whole Kathleen Kennedy thing you said is a huge assumption based on little evidence. Well those are still unconfirmed rumors that some people are surely hoping to be true. I for one won't believe that until ...

Re: The Planned Star Wars Trilogy is Dead
I feel like I shouldn't even bother, but once again: * You can't really make a blanket statement like "people don't like Legends" because there are as many opinions as there are forums and comment sections. I've seen places on the net that make fun of it, and I've seen places on the net that worship...

Re: Is Rey a Mary Sue?
Learning the force has never taken long. Luke Skywalker had never heard of it, the day after he learned of its existence he used it to blow up the Death Star. He learned at a pedestrian pace, but never exhibited that much power by the end of Return of the Jedi. Exactly. You simply cannot compare ''...
