Re: So I've been thinking about checking out the Stargate franchise

Seasons 3 - 7 are arguably the best seasons. This show also shows that fully serialized storytelling is not always a requirement for a good show.

Okay...

What are the best and worst things about the show? How do you (or anyone) feel about the mixture of ancient and medieval cultures, modern military, and government conspiracies?

Hmm, Stargate is one of my favorite shows, should I say something?

Re: Terminator: Dark Fate Opening Scene (Spoilers... Kinda)

I personally consider the tv series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles to be a good follow up to the first two movies. It is different in some ways, and it has its flaws, but there's actually some pretty good episodes. As for the new movie, not really interested. Not upset by it or anything, ju...

Am I the only one that disliked Pacifica even at the end of the series?

Re: The Joker broke real reality

There's not necessarily anything wrong with liking something made by an evil person. I've listened to Charles Manson songs before, despite the things he did. There are some people who read Mein Kampf simply out of curiosity, or to get a better understanding of Hitler. Of course, different people wil...

Re: Did Voyager even have a series bible?

You could argue that the show did have some continuity with Seven of Nine and the Borg. And maybe the Pairs/Torres relationship. It wasn't much though. There was definitely a lot of wasted potential. Its understandable if the writers didn't want the show to be dark and edgy. But if that's the case t...

Re: Short Treks - "Calypso"

I was already predisposed to dislike STD right from the off (I have a thing about the name "Michael", which put my back up right from the getgo, it is complicated and personal Not sure if I should be offended by that? Of course, there are a couple names that I have negative associations with myself...

Re: SG-1: "Out of Mind"

Unlike a lot of people, I generally don't mind clip shows. Also, Citizen Joe was a clip show, and that was arguably one of the best episodes of season 8. Keep in mind, I don't consider season 8 to be one of the best seasons.

Re: Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha

I've never seen this show. It could be good, but if it features a lot of "loli fanservice", then I imagine it will be awkward/uncomfortable to watch SF Debris review it. Of course, I don't always watch the anime reviews, so there's a chance I won't watch this one.
