Re: The Chimney of Surprise.

Is it possible your house is haunted by an insane construction foreman from the early Industrial Era? I feel like a Secret Chimney falls under that umbrella.

Re: SG1: 2010

I like the idea of the Aschen, but they're definitely a villain type you can only use sparingly. An antagonist that never actually attacks you, but instead moves indirectly is a great counterpart to overtly military groups like the SGC and the Goauld. You can't just attack head on, you have to be sn...

Re: Stargate SG-1 Review - 1969

I like episodes like this. I find it kinda fun to watch established characters in weird situations outside their comfort zone, and time travel is automatically that. Though I agree, some kind of resolution for the hippies would have been nice. I feel like time travel stories need to have characters ...

Re: DIS - Such Sweet Sorrow, Part 2

I just want a cast of interesting characters visiting random new worlds and having strange and exciting adventures again, is that t...

Re: Firefly: Serenity

I remember liking this when I was younger, and I can see the bones of a good show forming, but the fact that the show ended so abruptly hurts it a lot. You can't really judge the quality of a show just from the first few episodes, because that's when it's still finding its feet. It's a good concept ...

Re: Escaflowne ep. 19: Operation Golden Rule of Love

I watched this years back when it was on TV (possibly a edited version? I remember a techno-ish opening song) and it's a relief to know it wasn't me not getting it, this show is a head trip and a half.

Re: Dragonball Z: History of Trunks

This is one where the show is straight up taunting Chuck with how impenetrable this episode is. The driver's ed episode is more accessible, and that one had nothing to do with anything in the show.

Re: MST3K The Show - Season 8

I'm pretty sure Space Mutiny was my first MST3K episode, and it is gloriously awful. My favorite nickname was BLAST HARDCHEESE!

This is actually really good, considering it's about three years younger than Doctor Who. Color me intruiged.

Re: Black Mirror: USS Callister

This is me overthinking this again, I get why Walton is the dominant one inside the company and why they can't fire Daly but if Daly is so famous that other people start gushing about how they love his code why doesn't another company try to poach him ? Genius engineers get convinced to change thei...
