Re: Swtor Jedi knight

Just got around to watching part 7. Some random thoughts I had while watching: The Doc Nemro bit was intended to have a bit more cross class story stuff to it originally. In the original plans the Bounty Hunter and Skadge would have paid Nemro a visit. So the "bounty hunter" referenced as killing Ne...

Re: Swtor Jedi knight

So Rusk's squad can actually survive the final Hoth mission. You have to give him the Gen'Dai though.

Honestly I think part 6 covered my favorite part of the Jedi Knight story as the ending of Chapter 2 and the "proper" introduction to Scourge are both great sequences.

Re: Voyager Scorpion

Maybe this makes sense if you watch the episode, but I feel like it needs to be asked... what exactly is Voyager getting out of this "deal" with the Borg? The terms of the deal are supposed to be Voyager gives the Borg the alien invader off button in exchange for safe passage through Borg Space. But...

Re: SG-1: The Lost City

I have to say that Lost City Part 2 is quite likely one of my favorite episodes of Stargate. It has a ton of great moments like the Jack/Teal'c moment Chuck pointed out. And it is just chock full of great moments. One of the things that I loved about the series was the sense of progression over the ...

Re: SG1: There But For The Grace of God

Love this episode. It does a great job of telling an interesting story while also setting up the stakes for the finale. On the other hand, whenever they are used as offense weaponry they are shown to be a combination of useless and/or actively harmful to the situation (the best example is their use ...

Re: The Lost Room

Wasn't there some mention of "Death of God" or "Death of Heaven" that caused the Event? I've never seen the miniseries, so all I know was what's in the review. Several theories are mentioned, like the items being a test from God or maybe that God died and this is what remains or that this is the re...

Re: Dragon Age: Inquisition

It's not just the DLC. Big parts of Inquisition assume you read the Asunder and Masked Empire novels and don't bother to explain what the hell is going on beyond a brief summary. The Orlesian Civil War plot especially is nonsensical if you don't know the characters and politics going in. Hmm, I do ...

Re: Dragon Age: Inquisition

if that character is so important he goes to the next game he should have been in base. Dragon Age has...a tendency to include a lot of the super important plot stuff in the DLC. Corypheus being introduced in DLC is not the first and was not the last time that an important plot thread is introduced...

Re: Dragon Age: Inquisition

Watching the latest video, I really can't help but be reminded about how I wished the game had given more reasons to do the templar mission. I mean, the templars just act like dicks to you when you first show up and the mages are nice-ish, which is a good first impression, then they suck you in wit...

Re: Dragon Age: Inquisition

I did like the mosaic collectables as you get a codex with some interesting commentary, which may have lore implications, for each one you complete. They always bugged me since I think they were more reliefs than mosaics, but the reward was interesting. It has been so long that I can't even remember...
