Re: Falcon and the Winter Soldier
As a guy who no one can call "too politically correct" I don't mind what they're doing in TFATWS. While I'm not exactly on the front lines of "wokeness" or anything, I certainly don't deny issues exist. The situations that happened in the show, I feel are believable. Yes, the banker as a universe-sa...

Re: Star Trek Aesthetics
For the Enterprise-D, I think it looks awesome...from any angle below the equator of the saucer. Thanks to the technology, or lack thereof, when TNG was being produced, we rarely saw the D from anything bu a low angle. I have a model of the old girl which sits on an alcove above my desk. From above,...

Re: The final countdown.
Was the famous song written for the film? Everything I can find says that it was written long after.

Re: Star Trek Discovery: Season Three
Forgot to mention that the show skips showing Stamets confronting Michael for tossing him off the ship to prevent him from jumping to the radioactive nebula, to Stamets being on the bridge and being happy that Michael is promoted to captain (MajorGrin pointed that out in his review video). I guess ...

Re: Star Trek Discovery: Season Three
So, we Die Harded the ship back into the crew's control, angry child just leaves, the Federation is reassembling and mining dilithium...until this source runs out. And Burnham is made captain so the novelty of the main character not being the captain is done. Maybe we'll just call her captain yoyo f...

Re: Star Trek Discovery: Season Three
Well, to be fair, it was a "science ship" testing a new type of drive intended to send warships all around the galaxy.

Re: Star Trek Discovery: Season Three
We also had two who could destroy two universes if they came in contact with each other outside of that pocket dimension. Chuck created a new category for how easily it is to bring galactic (if not universal) calamity in Trek. As I said, as dumb as this is, it's par for the course in Trek, sadly. A...

Re: Star Trek Discovery: Season Three
*sigh* I was afraid they were going to go down a road like this. Star Trek has always had a strong scientific component. That sure, we have super-powered beings like Trelane, Q, The Douwd, but they've always had a measure credibility behind them. But now, this radioactive child throws a temper-tantr...

Re: The Mandalorian
I hope I can speculate here: Gideon wants Grogu for experimenting with Force-sensitive clones, AKA: Snoke. <- Highlight the previous to read.
