Reviews in Order

Hello, This may come off as an odd question but I was wondering if there was a list of reviews in order which Chuck has done from original launch date? Many reviews contain references to other reviews and it might be fun to see where this started and see it unfold. There are lots of re-uploads so it...

Re: VOY: Repentance

In the world we live in innocents will always be casualties regardless of the method. At the time of this post we are looking at between 125-150 civilian casualties from the most recent push of Russia into Ukraine. All around the world we have homelessness, illness, blanket corruption, etc. In the S...

Re: VOY: Repentance

Well I had a feeling Chuck would be putting out a two-parter after this was pushed back in the unofficial schedule posted on the front page. Could have done without part 1 and will likely skip over it moving forward on any rewatch. Context is all well and good but it just didn't affect the episode r...

Re: Last Man on Earth

More on the review than the movie itself. I am so glad that Vincent Price has found his way into the SFDebris log. It just feels right to have him in here. I wonder how Chuck would deal with 'The Raven' or some of the other Poe adaptations. I also want to say this is the first movie review in a long...

Re: Jodie Whittaker steps down as Dr Who

I am happy to see her leave/get the boot as whatever the case may be. When you have an iconic character I believe it is wrong to fundamentally change this character. James Bond is a man and Ellyn Ripley is a woman. Having Ripley be a man in a remake would not be alright and neither is having a femal...

Re: Missing Star Trek

VOY The Phage is missing part of the video. It runs to about 6 minutes and stops with the 'Content not available' message. The Coda is in tact.

VOY Initiations down with 'Content Rejected' message. https://sfdebris.com/videos/startrek/v821.php

Contagion (2011) Review

To begin, Merry Christmas everyone. That said, I have mixed feelings about the big Christmas review this year. I appreciate it and Chuck's hard work, as I always appreciate it. He has a lot to say here and makes some uplifting points about our life. The down side is that I felt like the review was c...

Re: Andromeda: Under the Night/An Affirming Flame

Reading this forum I feel like the odd-man out. I do like this show and I don’t mind the direction changes all that much. Yes, there were big changes after season 2. But these changes were only changes, not betrayals of the show or characters. SEASON 1: Hunt wants and needs to reestablish the only l...

The Next Christmas Catastrophe?

I’m just wondering what the next worst episode will be. Harry Kim in Fortunate son? Double trouble Kathy Griffin in X files Fight Club? What is your money on?

Re: ENT - Stigma

This episode is a mess, no doubt about it. Later trek lost all the subtlety that made earlier Trek something great. Since it was referenced by Chuck, 'Up the Long Ladder' never for a moment felt like an abortion thing to me. If it was really or if its just someone's interpretation of it I can't say....
