Re: Sfdebris fallout 3
The puzzle was a bit annoying, but needed otherwise you have no reason why no one else "solves" this problem. But it is plausible and fitting within the universe. Certainly is different the first time around. Sadly doesn't hold that charm on replays really.

Re: Wonder Woman 1984
It's long. Really too long, it doesn't use that time well. It's set in 1984 for no real reason, and the 1984 you get is this mish-mash. They don't even use the period to use a lot of period music, not that the soundtrack was bad. I just feel they were riding that 80's nostalgia trend and possibly us...

Always good to use an opinion piece as a source for facts.

Re: A Look at Holograms and Ethics
If free will is the standard you're using, that's a problem, because free will doesn't actually exist. Even for us humans, our decisions are just the result of chemical reactions and electrical impulses; under a sufficiently thorough analysis, everything we do is as predictable and mechanical as a ...

Re: 10 Star Wars and 10 Marvels
If it's good stuff I'll be glad to have it. That said, I am dubious that they can manage it from what I've seen from Disney so far. Hopefully some of these series and movies will be good. But yeah, I'm kinda done with the Marvel superhero movies, that feels over.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077
I have several games I'm into right now (Battletech, Phoenix Pont, Empire of Sin) so I'm happy to see if I get Cyberpunk for Christmas or wait for a sale right now. Let some patches happen and things to get settled bug-wise.

Re: Sfdebris fallout 3
I feel you have to just overlook the fact that supposedly 200 years has passed and enjoy the game without thinking 200 years have passed wince the end because wow is that not a good number for what we see.

Shooting Dad in the head repeatedly as you escort him back to the memorial/project is a great way to spend some quality time with Dad. Really catch up on how your life is a lie.

Re: Blake 7: Mission to Destiny
Link for the episode's review: https://sfdebris.com/videos/blakes7/blakes7s1e7.php Something about thin swinging doors on a "spaceship" that really does feel like cheap set. Yes, you can have swing doors on a ship, and maybe interior doors should be flimsy privacy screens, but the episode screams bo...

Re: Christmas Show
Yeah, the episode where moon is an egg is a terrible story? Hold my beer, here comes The Timeless Children. Whole season suffered from being largely boring and then a massive retcon to the entire franchise... I don't know if I'm going to bother watching the New Year episode or anything else from the...
