Re: The Mandalorin

I like the new Trilogy and dislike the "Star Wars Story" stuff. This looks like it will work, because it is about an original character, but contains the trappings of the franchise that have been shown to be popular. It is also not about a planet destroying super weapon. Blimey someone on here like...

Re: Star Wars Resistance trailer

It looks like a copy of Star Wars: Rebels (character wise), but with bad animation. At least, this will get people to stop dumping on Rebels.

I’ll give it a try. Maybe it’ll be better than it appears. Clones and Rebels both improved in time, so this could too.

Re: Reevaluating Star Trek: Enterprise

Enterprise is the only Trek show I actually quit watching. (This was in part because of my disappointment in Voyager.) For Enterprise, I came back for season 3 and enjoyed it the rest. At this point, what I didn’t like about Enterprise remains. I enjoyed the Kelvin timeline movies, so there was no i...

Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars has a new Season.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RI7WyhWZkzk&t=1s While I should be happy to have the series back, I'm not. It's been confirmed for only 12 episodes. One story arc ties into a battle mentioned in the New Canon Ashoka Novel. No mention of the four episode Son of Dathomir story arc. No mention of the ...

From the Clone Wars, all of the jokes about Anakin’s love to fight. After talking about needing a man for a likely suicide mission... “So, naturally Anakin is there waving his one remaining hand and going, ‘Ooh, ooh, pick me!’” —— Anakin: “Rex, tell the troops to fall back!” Rex: “But, sir-“ Chuck a...

Re: Clone Wars: Arc Troopers

I was always under the impression that once the war broke out in full they found a way to further accelerate the cloning and training process otherwise I see the republic not being drowned out in superior numbers and that did not happen That would be possible. That would mean that they had a way to...

Re: Tattoo (VOY)

I am surprised anyone ever thought anything good about this episode. I thought this one was horrifically racist and terrible when I first saw it back in high school. Not to mention more magic interaction between Delta Quadrant and Alpha Quadrant nonsense. You'd think there was another DS9 wormhole ...

Re: Clone Wars: Arc Troopers

And again, we know how much Palpatine is banking on THIS specific design, what with the Jedi kill switch, and he surely won't allow anyone to fuck with that. That could be inserted into any new clone design. It is just a biological chip. Lacking Jango’s DNA seems to just be a weak excuse for when s...

Re: Areas where you'd respectfully disagree with Chuck

I like Keevan, the Vorta who betrayed his men. He didn’t, as far as he knew, have a way to save them. It was basically having them die in a fixed battle...or they die in agony while killing everyone, including each other. Sisko didn’t offer the “put them in stasis” idea to him, assuming that idea wo...
