Re: Areas where you'd respectfully disagree with Chuck
It's a real issue facing some men, sadly. They work in a primarily female-dominated work environment, which I find to be a sad thing to get upset over. It's what women had to endure in the 1950s as they were entering the primarily male-dominated workforce. Some jobs are just random that way, and it...

Re: The Jurassic Park/World Franchise (spoilers!)
I am enjoying this soft sequel reboot. If the other sequels are in the same timeline though, they should make a mention of those events in the movies. As far a ranking them goes... Jurassic Park - Just a great movie. The Big One and Lexy were my favorite characters here...even though the first one t...

Re: Enterprise: Borderland
Any Stargate fans amused by the character names Malik and Persis? Throughout the trilogy, I kept thinking of the two Tok’ra, Malek and Per’sus, though they were very minor characters, and never in an episode together.

Re: Areas where you'd respectfully disagree with Chuck
I forget if I mentioned this earlier? One problem I had was in his Angel One review where he acted all insulted at a woman in real life who questioned whether he was uncomfortable working with women in a primarily female-dominated work environment. There's a few reasons for this. One is that it is ...

Re: Deep space nine: Defiant
Given how Voyager treated its characters, I think Thomas was better off.
I do wish DS9 followed up with this episode. Thomas really did get the short stick in life.

Re: Star Trek TNG: Firstborn
My headcanon is Alexander got stuck in a time vortex until he was sixteen. He spent that time in the future where the Dominion almost won. Worf got a message about it. Grunted, said, "Must be Friday." Then went back to work. Worf really needed to keep an eye on that kid. He had unbelievably growth ...

Didn’t Alexander say they supported him? He was an adult (somehow) by then.Sir Will wrote:Yeah how do you not know your 8 (seriously?) year old son has run away and joined the Klingon army? Although I'm questioning the grandparents too.

Re: Past Tense (DS9)
I feel bad for Gabriel Bell in this episode. I know he had to die for Sisko and Bashir to get involved, but I wish they had let him truly be the hero of these episodes. He sounded like an interesting character. It's like the Terminator, was it a closed loop, or did Sisko and company alter history, ...

Re: The Emperor's New Cloak (DS9)
I'm also a softie on Ferengi episodes so this one...didn't bother me that much. The only thing that makes me roll my eyes is the mentioned "gays only exist in the Mirror Universe", which to me is more of a Berman problem than a show problem. In-Universe (...ha) it does beg the question of why, whic...

Re: Star Trek [2009]
I really enjoyed the first movie. Everyone had a small chance to shine at least once. The second movie was a big disappointment. I enjoy it better by pretending it’s not Kahn, but an augmented Kahn groupie. It’s still a largely skippable movie though. The third movie was good, and with the way it’s ...
