Re: SG-1: Divide and Conquer
I just watched the review. I forgot how bad Freya’s clothes were. Martouf and Lantash were done so wrong here. Beloved characters (well, to me) that were reduced to a side note just to die. On top of that, their crush admits to having feelings for someone else as a final FU to them. (An FU fro...

Re: What I Love Most About Naru in Prey
I think war chief is different than chief? Like a general basically? I don't really understand it. I'd love to see somebody who knows what they're talking about break down all the social elements and symbolism in this. Like I'm vaguely aware the two feathers Naru wears in her hair means something s...

Re: What I Love Most About Naru in Prey
Did the movie ever explain why the tribe had no adult men? There's a bunch of hunters who are maybe like twenty and some elders, nothing in between. Plenty of mothers, but no fathers. Also they seem to have taken all the horses with them. I don’t think they did though maybe they thought young adult...

Re: What I Love Most About Naru in Prey
Spoiler Warning… I enjoyed the movie, but I wish the Comanche males lasted longer. I wanted to see their reaction, to see how they would respond and fight. They were always going to lose, but they died before they could really do anything. Remove the French to develop them more. Aside from Naru’s br...

Re: ENT fusion.
The first I saw this episode, I mistook Mr. Bland/Smug/Date Rapist for the Vulcan Captain. The Captain just sort of disappeared. Did Archer not tell him he has a violent crew member? It seems he had to have, but then why is Archer the one dealing with the guy?

I don’t know. I’m not in charge. It would probably require re-numbering the episodes, and no one did.Thebestoftherest wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 6:01 pm Okay, then why didn't they ever fix that mistake, why not let the episodes be in proper order somewhere.

Re: Does the Star Wars Disney Era Have a Continuity Lock-Out Problem?
And there in lies a strange positive for me, The Lucas Era was willing to do insane shit like this. You can have a jumbled mess in one part and have a coherent story with few to no confusing timeline within the same series. And yet still get several episodes that could stand on it's own. If they we...

Re: Does the Star Wars Disney Era Have a Continuity Lock-Out Problem?
RoS, yes. It had many problems in that regard. I didn’t feel like that for TLJ. The missing third lesson was just of odd. I don’t think it detracted from the movie. To many others things did that instead. 😂 There’s so much more Star Wars than these movies though, and I think we can all enjoy as much...

Re: Does the Star Wars Disney Era Have a Continuity Lock-Out Problem?
But for whatever reason, it was decided that EVERY entry in the Disney Era would be not only tied to the films but would also be, as Bert Gummer would say, Critical, NEED TO KNOW, INFORMATION !!! … Contrast this with JUST The Force Awakens. Who's the First Order, read these tying in novels. Why isn...
