Lesbians being pressured into sex by pre-op transwomen

This is for topical issues effecting our fair world... you can quit snickering anytime. Note: It is the desire of the leadership of SFDebris Conglomerate that all posters maintain a civil and polite bearing in this forum, regardless of how you feel about any particular issue. Violators will be turned over to Captain Janeway for experimentation.

It's pretty inaccurate none the less.

Overall you can assert from two sides here that, while recognizing gender as a social construct, the personal development is determined to be as valid as the socially conventional development. There is science to suggest a lot more connective brain chemistry, as has been brought up by CmdrKing in the past iirc. Also that, though I'm personally not too certain on if there is a neurological foundation for it, civil society and its social institutions are a COMPLETELY different matter.
The whole civil society/social institutions thing is slippery, though. I mean, the situation in the feminist "gender roles are stupid and even your grandparents' generation didn't take them seriously except as an obstacle" household and their social circle and the fundamentalist "strict gender roles are built into human nature and are God's will" household next door and their social circle is going to be completely different.
As far as government check boxes, that for instance is a bit overdue. Also the medical institutional knowledge that reaches into psychiatric counseling for the transition process, where more MDs are referring to qualified doctors or psychiatrists for a multitude of clinical reasons... It's important as a society to have awareness of this stuff.

I agree in general, with the caveat that the check boxes are actually super convenient in my state by "interacting with bureaucracy" standards. I <3 NY.
