Different versions of them in some cases... (a US gallon isn't the same as an imperial one).

That's weird. Fahrenheit actually goes by tens. Almost metric for human comfort. Like 40 degrees is cold, but not too cold. 60 is comfortable but definitely jacket wearing temperature for many. 70 is human comfort level. 100 is hot as hell and anything beyond that is just extra torture.
Yeah, but the freezing point of water is 32F while boiling is 212F. In metric it's 0C and 100C. 20C is about 68F, for further reference.
Like I said metric for Humans. 100 Celsius is beyond human comfort levels while 0 Celsium is very much within a human's safe temperature level. There is 100 degrees between 0 F and 100 F with each ten degrees being noticeable and even within that ten degrees a few degrees can also be felt.
And for future reference I am fully aware of the temperature conversions from Celsium and Fahrenheit.
But if I was born and raised with Celsius instead of Fahrenheit, then I would think in terms of celsius.
The king's foot would be the most basic example. Whereas the centimeter and meter as standard proportions are either much smaller or larger.

1000 paces according to the Romans. Of course the average pace would vary from one area to another. But it was supposed to be 5000 feet. Not sure where the official 5280 feet came from though.
Fun fact. All of your ratchets (the ones that use to connect sockets to for faster and easier ways to remove a bolt), are based on the SAE measuremen. So you got a 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", and even 1". Those are universal.

That's because in the American Customary System, miles are from the Roman system of measurement and Feet are from the English system of measurement.

He's a bit like Joe Biden is old Rudy. He was something special once. Go and watch some film set in New York in the early 90s to see how well he cleaned up that city. I would recommend Home Alone 2.
But no, i'm sure they have an arsenal of lawyers at the ready. I sincerely doubt that the Republicans have Lionel Hutz on staff.
