Here is the thing about Bud. In the past 20 years, they have been been buying out microbreweries. Most if not all of them are not a threat in anyway to the main brand but if you add them up together it can be.

Or at least we can hope.

Though in the US we are almost getting to the point where if there is a town, there will be a microbrewery. And they are going to their version of some IPA or pale ale. You will lose if you choose the IPA.

I’m pretty sure my town has had several ipa’s with its name on each for several decades by now.

American IPAs? The super hoppy kind? The ones that starts to taste like a solvent on how much they can do it it?

That style has been around only for 20 years or less which is what 99% of microbreweries make.

In all seriousness though, I'm surprised how many people undercut the boycott run by mostly daytime drinkers because they had to purchase a case in order to destroy it for promotion of the boycott.
