Well Labour turned the country solid red, now we see if they can actually do the job. Sunak is kinda worrying me though, he calls himself a Socialist but he's talking like he wants to try to fix the problems fourteen years of austerity caused by doing austerity harder...

Liberal Democrats gained a bunch of seats too, didn't see that coming.
...for space is wide, and good friends are too few.

Rees-Mog gone, Truss gone, Reform didn't get anywhere near the predicted 13 seats from last night, and I'm back in a solid Lib Dem majority again after the Tories lost 26% of their vote so that's just lovely all over.

Thank heavens, they've gone. Oh hell, the future's bleak with this lot.

Interesting to note that Labour's share of the vote has barely grown.

Well, that's kinda what happens when a new party enters and there's vote splitting. PR could have been enacted, but it wasn't.

Changing the entire voting system isn't something that's a pick and choose every time there's an election.

Personally I do think PR's needed, even though it would often (including this time) give more support to some groups I'd rather didn't have it. Anything else just doesn't seem really democratic.
