Look... I'm gonna vote for Trump

Ever since he said Homer Simpson was gonna eat cats and dogs, I felt that. Who KNOWS what modern simpsons is like, I believe we have to stop that. He also made the great point that yeah, facts are weird and lame and Kamala is weird and lame cause she's got a lot of facts. I can't handle a woman into facts and logic... so yeah, voting for Trump.

I believe baiting Trump into doing that live was Harris' main objective. The campaign even did ad-buys on Fox that seemed targeted at specifically him to get him wound up ahead of it.

To people who actually follow politics closely it's nothing new, but tons of people only watch the network or cable news and get the edited and sane-washed version. A lot of people saw how he actually speaks off-prompter for the first time last night, and he provided a wonderful insane ramble.

Harris pulling "wtf is wrong with you?" faces while he did it was also quite enjoyable.

Once Harris brought up the fact that people were leaving his rallies, that pretty much set him off for the rest of the debate and he never recovered. Harris exploited his deep-seated need for validation and just needed to step back and watch as he blathered on.

Now Trump doesn't want to do another debate. The simple fact is that he did horrible and his side is frantically doing damage control. Or making things up like Harris earring was a ear piece she was listening to.

TBH, both of them didn't take the easy shots. Harris should have pushed more into why Trump had the bipartisan border deal to fail. She could have pushed more about abortion after Trump just said about aborting babies after birth or near full term babies. Harris could have also got under Trump's skin more, as that sort of thing is easy to do. She could have easily used his rallies where he talks about himself and not about us/we.

Trump could have addressed certain things that Harris has done in the past. But instead talked and botched about illegals for the umpteenth time.

I agree she should have pushed harder but well... sadly a LOT of America... AKA white people, would have reacted badly to a black woman being mean to Trump. I work with a lot of black women and my boss is a black woman, the company I work at is pretty diverse, but even she is told to be nicer when talking to clients.

My boss is one of the nicest sweetest people I know and I like her a lot, and I NEVER seen her get mean to a client. She gets passionate, but never mean. She got complaints about 'intimidating' them. She's like... 28. I could throw her. Now here's Kamala, who's older and bigger and ergo, 'scarier' even though Kamala looks like a PTA mom. You and I have no problems with her being tough on Trump... but a LOT of voters are one issue trick ponies, and scary black lady is remembered. Hard.

Harris deliberately tried to get Trump to go insane and the fact that THEY'RE EATING THE DOGS is the meme that came from the debate is what she wanted. She didn't need to be mean to Trump because all people will remember is his craziest part.

He can't just look evil.

He has to look stupid.

I wonder if Trump is that self aware that he can be baited like that or that he just really thinks he won that debate is the reason why he doesn't want to do another.

I mean the second debate probably woukd have been on Fox News where he would have gotten easy softball questions. And Harris would have gotten more difficult questions probably related to her past.

I think he actually thinks he won that debate.
