French Politician Blasts Trump

Remember when MAGA said that Biden made the US the laughing stock of the world? Yeah I don't remember anyone blasting Biden like this. Now the tune has changed, who cares what a Frenchman says. He ain't American.
I got nothing to say here.

I'm a bit disappointed that Starmer seems to be sucking up to Trump, although there's always the possibility that there's a bit more to it than that. Trump has a collossal, fragile ego which makes him pretty easy to manipulate by making use of that, as well as a huge dose of very childish spitefulness, so there may be more mileage in playing him than by shoving reality in his face (especially since his understanding of reality is very limited anyway).

Did you see the articles made before the election about the behind the scenes of Trump's reality show The Apprentice? Basically Trump would seeming randomly fire the contestants on the show even though there were ones the producers felt were the strong ones or potentially winners. So they had to scramble to create 'bad' scenes of these contestants to justify Trump's firing.

exactly, then again if you done research apparently Trump only ever made money with wrestling, and that show. IE when someone else was making the important decisions.

We need America. The truth of the matter is that the UK is in a pig of a state at the moment and being on Trump's shitlist will only make it worse. Starmer is making the only correct move in this situation. What Trump thinks changes every day but right now we seem to have avoided the tariffs and there appears to be the possibility of a trade deal in the works. Also ironically, we'll probably need America's help to rearm ourselves if that is still the plan and i'm sure Trump will love a few contracts thrown his way.

International politics is a bitch but sometimes you have to suck it up and play the game.

Take that idiot in charge of the SNP as a prime example. What a fool he is, coming out and saying that Starmer should rescind the King's invitation. That is the WORST thing we could do right now. Could you imagine the fallout if Starmer actually did that? Let us never forget that if it was up to them we wouldn't have any nukes right now which would mean that we would have even less teeth than we do now.

Looks like France is forgetting about a little conflict called WWI where Russia and US helped France stop the central powers.

Appeasement is a bad strategy with Nazis.

You could try rejoining the EU. I doubt the price will ever become cheaper than it is right now.
