What did Elon Musk do this time.

You do realize, this would lead into a presidency of JD Vance? Frankly, at this point, nothing will change whether Trump's around or not. The cancer is rooted too deep.
That's the problem. Trump dying in office puts Vance in power and he isn't an improvement. He may end up being worse.

Oh he may not be prolific as Trump is on social media. He may not be swayed by ego when someone does something against him.
Or the idiot cronies in Congress wouldn't be swayed by him like they were Trump.

Jorkin Depenis Vance doesnt' have the same massive populist following as 47. Republicans will be less afraid of their base turning on them if they vote against him.

He doesn't. But it's still early and hard to tell if they do follow Vance because Vance follows Trump's lead.

I know the MAGA love him. Like legit talk about him taking over in 2028 or even 2032. Which is no surprise really, vice presidents do in fact try to follow their boss once their terms are over.
I got nothing to say here.

In a bit of Good News, Elon's attempt to buy an election for the Wisconsin Supreme Court has crashed and burned.

Sure, but whilst he can get the same hardcore support following him he's not got the cult of personality surrounding him that Trump has.

So, it seems that Musk will be stepping down from DOGE after the disaster in Wisconsin. Trump has poo-poo'd this, saying that as a Special Government Employee he is limited by law to working only so many days so that always put his departure date to June. Of course, if everything had gone swimmingly, Trump would have changed that law to keep Musk there so I find that idea bullshit. Its not as if Trump has followed any other law so far.

Wisconsin voted for Trump just a few months ago with a margin of about 2%. Now it has voted by a margin of 10% to keep the Republicans out of the Courts. In all of the interviews I have seen on the BBC today the root cause really does seem to be Musk rather than Trump. He alone galvanised the people who do not normally vote into action.

There is footage of Musk doing the rounds of Musk with tears in his eyes during a Fox interview whereby he is claiming that everything he has done is for good blah blah. Can't say I have much sympathy. Go Fascist, Go Broke.

I'll take my wins where I can find them. Let's hope the rift between Elongated Muskrat and the Republican president deepens.

Hmm. Honeymoon is over. I sensed this with the loss. Remember Trump didn't take too kindly to losing back in 2022 on his own appointed nominees either.

Also if I remember correctly, today it was reported Tesla had a 13% sales decline in the first quarter of 2025. More than what was suspected. If this continues, I wonder if Tesla might try to force him out to regain their public image.
I got nothing to say here.

I think it likely anyone putting money in Tesla other than Musk himself is going to leave like rats on a sinking ship.
