It's also specifically banned by the 12th Amendment but it's not like MAGA is even pretending to care about the Constitution anymore.Madner Kami wrote: ↑Mon Mar 31, 2025 1:15 pmWhich wouldn't work legally. All the restrictions applying to the President, also apply to the Vice President. We all know they don't care about the law, so this will be no deal-breaker for them, but that's a bit too roundabout a way to make it happen.clearspira wrote: ↑Mon Mar 31, 2025 8:54 am https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/t ... 2826&ei=16
Trump has hinted about how he is going to go about his third term - he is basically going to let Vance run with him as VP and then have him just hand the presidency back to Trump. I guess that depends a lot on how well the Republicans are tracking in four years time.

Re: Donald Trump Reloaded!
He actually mused about wanting run against Obama in 2028.
Honestly this would actually come to a wait and see for Trump. He would 82 and you really never know when health could take a right turn. We are not talking about 62, but 82. Honestly I would love to see him lose. Lose badly because of how badly he ran the country between now and 2028. Really have his base go against him.
But since that involves really destroying the country that I actually live in and people's lives. I'd just settle to see his appointed successor just lose to, whether that is Vance or someone else.

There is so much wrong here, but part for the course for Trump.clearspira wrote: ↑Mon Mar 31, 2025 8:54 am https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/t ... 2826&ei=16

Also this:
Trump said: “I'm not looking at that but I'll tell you, I have had more people ask me to have a third term, which in a way is a fourth term because the other election, the 2020 election was totally rigged, so it's actually sort of a fourth term. I just don't want the credit for the second because Biden was so bad, he did such a bad job, and I think that's one of the reasons that I'm popular, if you want to know the truth.
“I think I'm popular because we've done a great job. I think we've had the best hundred days of almost any president. Most people are saying that and it's an honor, bringing back our country. We're respected as a country again. We're strongly respected and people are amazed.”
I got nothing to say here.

Trump administration admits ''administrative error'' that got an innocent Maryland man sent to a prison in El Salvador. There is nothing that they can do to get that man back short of saying ''please'' because he is now in the custody of another country.
They are now straight up kidnapping innocent men and sending them to foreign prisons to die.

Yes, they are disappearing people. I'm surprised they admitted anything rather than just saying "what are you going to do about it?"
"Believe me, there’s nothing so terrible that someone won’t support it."

Trump just pardoned Trevor Milton, the convicted scammer behind Nicola Motors. Because Milton openly bribed him with some of the money he stole.
Just the regular spit in the eye of the concept of law and order.

American Liberation or something like that. So in essence, he pissed of the world. He raises basically prices across the board that common folk have to pay, but yet no tax breaks for the common folk.ProfessorDetective wrote: ↑Wed Apr 02, 2025 9:17 pm This just in: He's now tariffing EVERYONE!!!

Let's be honest here, American automobile industry has basically did away with the sedan short of the luxury ones. So if you want a daily driver kind of car that does great gas milage you have to buy foreign. Like a Honda Civic for example. So instead of let's say $26,000 for the base model, now it's over $30,000. Minivans are already expensive now, with price tags starting at $40,000.
Let alone everything else.
I have seen the excuses from his base already on these. Don't buy foreign. Buy American then. Don't worry the factories in Mexico will be moved to the US due to these tariffs. I am not worried, I can afford these extra tarrifs. And so on.
It just feels like Trump is playing checkers while his supporters thinks he is playing chess. No in reality, Trump is only playing checkers and the rest of the world is playing chess. This is a great way to isolate the US from the world market.
I got nothing to say here.
Re: Donald Trump Reloaded!
Oh on a low note, 72 days in office Trump has been off 14 days of that and cost $26 million alone on those days off. Not to mention his Super Bowl apearence among others.
I got nothing to say here.
