Fair point, the presidents I mentioned were the ones I am most familiar with since I was old enough to remember them (I was too young when Regan and Bush senior were in office). Hence why I mentioned them and not others like Nixon.

Ironically enough, Russia is one of a very few select countries, that had no tariffs placed on them. What a shitshow.

Btw. On the topic of fucking with the EU, did you know that SWIFT is a European-based network? About half the world-wide financial transactions go through it, with practically all transactions from or to Europe and Northern America going through it. Could be fun

Update: Russia is now outright saying that Trump is flouting international trade laws by imposing such huge tariffs on China.

And speaking of kissing a posterior, Trump is reported to have stated that "countries around the world are lining up to kiss my ass" according to the BBC.

That is what you would expect from a kid on XBOX Live, not the President of the United States. Once again it bears repeating: Lex Luthor would not say that in public.

I hope congress succeeds in passing the new law that would limit the president's ability to pass tariffs. This trade war is going to affect medication, which means people die.
