Okay so this species is important to agriculture. So why would there be a delay on either side of the aisle to protect it and thus protect our own production?Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Wed Sep 26, 2018 11:45 pm https://news.nationalgeographic.com/201 ... ed-states/

Re: Bumblebee added to endangered species list
Keep in mind there are dozens of species of carpenter and bumble bees in the US, not to mention the other native bees.
HOWEVER.
All of those species are experiencing declines, too. Not to this extent, yet, but habitat degradation, pollution, and general lack of care for the environment are taking their toll.

I dunno, why is there a delay on actions to protect humanity as a whole from wildfires, rising sea levels, polar vortexes, and killer hurricanes?Nealithi wrote: ↑Thu Sep 27, 2018 2:06 pmOkay so this species is important to agriculture. Well to be honest I was more hoping someone with right of the fence leanings might answer this one. I mean I am all for conservation. Reuse materials and spaces before consuming new ones etc. I like the saving of the grey wolf. But I also see the counter arguements that they are dangerous to our domestic animals and children. It is a valid concern. So why dissent on something not harmful and actually necessary to maintain our economic base?Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Fri Sep 28, 2018 12:21 amI dunno, why is there a delay on actions to protect humanity as a whole from wildfires, rising sea levels, polar vortexes, and killer hurricanes?Nealithi wrote: ↑Thu Sep 27, 2018 2:06 pmOkay so this species is important to agriculture.
