And here's me without a champagne mini to celebrate. Ah well.

The state police in that pic look like action figures.

Agreed. Alex Jones is human offal and he deserves to be left on the street, where he can fend for himself. And hopefully be denied access to the tattered remains of the wellfare state he hates.

Correction: he didn’t lose the lawsuit (yet), the judge determined he can’t use 1st Ammendment protections to dismiss the suit, so they’ve been able to clear the first major huddle. So, not as good as I thought, but still encouraging.

I'm divided on this.

If Alex Jones has only said "I think they're fake" or "I suspect it's fake," I'd be against a lawsuit succeeding, even though it'd be a completely shitty thing to say. And yes, that's even though he undoubtedly caused further suffering to people who've already had way more than their fair share. Even if he inspired death threats. That probably makes me alone in this thread. But if you've lost the right to say things that will hurt feelings, IMHO you've lost too much.

But if he said, "This is fake" or "This was staged to take away our second amendment rights" then by all means, he should pay through the nose. Therapy bills, security measures, he should pay for all of that, plus pain and suffering.

Either way, I wouldn't mind a little karma landing on him.

I'm probably a bit off as far as the actual consideration, but it's not so much the definitive nature for me but just imagining him screaming at the camera, like literally, that this whole thing is a sociopolitical conspiracy. And then also people are believing it and committing hostile acts because of it.
A world on fire.
