It's a stereotype to claim people are flooding the borders like fucking invaders! Most of them overstay on their visas or come here via swimming like near Florida. You see the recent news with the caravan? They didn't get very far, did they? Border security looks pretty good as it is. And those who are staying here illegally don't do so because they're fucking crackheads or sexually depraved monsters looking to exploit us, but just people wanting to escape the hell of their homelands and seek a piece of the American dream. Also, don't put words in my mouth, but yes, I'd love a time when we have open borders. Open borders would be a good sign that we're making progress as a society and moving forward. Europe has open borders. I wish we did.

I don't know what to do. But a big fucking symbolic wall meant to excite a small minority of people won't help when it's not going to stop illegal immigration in the slightest. Especially given how high the budget it is already. This is the GOP's plan. Drive up the debt, then spend it on worthless things like a border wall and tax cuts for the rich, so then they can go after your social security and medical insurance with the justification "the debt is too high to support them!" I've seen how effective this is on certain so-called Libertarians. They've hated the New Deal since FDR, and they just wanna keep expanding the wealth of the uber elite and stick it to the little guy.

Because... how does it make sense to send people who just wanna contribute back home if they overstay on their visas? Especially if they're young, bright, and talented? Yes, I'd love permanent visas, how is that so awful? People wanna move here, why can't they do so legally? My Filipino friend has been trying since the 1990s. I think deep down a lot of this is jealousy from white people. They're angry thinking these "spics" will steal their jobs, and worse yet, deep down they know they'll appreciate it more because as Americans, even if we're dirt poor, we've been born into wealth compared to a third world country. It's the same mindset that went into their disdain for Obama. He was an intelligent black man that could make the white bigots feel inferior because they saw how smarter he was than them, and it galls them.

And... again, the caravan didn't succeed, did they? I'll ask you point-blank: Do you wanna just deport all Latinos on their visas right now? Grab everyone who's in this country temporarily who happens to have a darker skin color, and kick them out? No matter how smart they are? Do you wanna shut down immigration altogether? Because I've met young white Asian Libertarians who say just that. Shut down immigration, we have to take care of our own people first. I see it the other way. Even the poorest of us have been born to a silver spoon compared to other countries, and it's our international duty to help them out. Especially since it's in line with the teachings of Christ these assholes who hold such views claim to cherish, yet don't put into actual practice. There's a word for that. Hypocrisy.

I wanted us out of the Middle East prior to 2014 or so. Now with Russia's imperialism on the rise, I think it is absolutely vital they be stopped, or we'll be the next ones up on the chopping block. Or at least until Putin is out of power and they finally get someone decent who doesn't represent them as if they're proud xenophobes who have nothing to apologize for.

Could be because a lot of these monitoring the claims have a political agenda, are people who have preconceived notions about Latinos and blacks. Could even be regressive right-wingers. You just never know, do you?
