Ok, so so far party A says, the worst has happened. Party B says, nothing has happened. What's newsworthy here? All that I can see is a bunch of people overreacting to something that quite likely has not happened at all.

A) Like Madner said, the evidence here seems shaky at best. B) I don't care what age, sex or race you are. If someone is carrying a weapon or drugs into a school then they should be searched. OF COURSE there is a correct way to go about this with minors, but imagine if this kid went on to stab your kid? Would you still have a problem with it?

Because I am waiting for a coherent story to emerge from this mess, before I decide who I want to put my pitchfork in? Wouldn't be the first time that kids tell a tall story to get out of a situation they brought themselves into. Wouldn't be the first time that the authorities try to cover something up either. I am open for both alternatives and will only light my torch once I can see a clear enemy to march against.
