Record-setting cold about to hit

Currently it's -23 F out for me, which isn't much lower than the projected high of -19 F. Apparently last night it got colder than it's been for this time of year in this area since the 1970s.

Funny thing is both today and yesterday a lot of places closed because of the cold temperatures, which I'm sure freed up more people to go shopping since retail certainly isn't going to shut down at all.
