Re: Democrats Want to Make Border Crisis Worse
I mean, the report button's there for a reason, at least in theory. There's a difference between tolerating different opinions and allowing people to spread harmful bullshit without consequences. Heck, on another forum I'm on, the mods make a point of saying "report, report, report" every time the matter comes up.

Just because, for example, I tend to align more closely with your political views also doesn't mean I'm not trying to understand the other side. I think politics is stupid, and tbh, hurts us more than helps us, and I wanna try to understand the other side as people. Granted, I've had times on this forum where the other side was saying something so stupid I was like, "Oh come on, how can you believe that shit?!" But then, Admiral X is correct in that people are protected to hold whatever views they want under the Constitution, no matter how awful people think they are - or are, in fact. The left does have something of a habit of virtue-signaling, and it's disgusting when it's reaching a level where you're demonizing people who have never committed a crime as if they have to those who did commit crimes against them, while giving them a free pass, which I have seen. Of course, that has more to do with rape culture and victim-blaming, I think, but I digress. As flawed as I think their beliefs are, it is still their beliefs, and they're free to own them. Just because you can be racist against Hispanics, for example, doesn't mean you're in favor of ethnic purges. Consider that.

Personally, Worffan, I admire you making the effort to still engage with X. I got sick of that and blocked him a long time ago.

Yeah, I finally just did it.Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2019 12:00 am Personally, Worffan, I admire you making the effort to still engage with X. I got sick of that and blocked him a long time ago.
Downside, now he can spread his crap without anybody being the wiser. Upside, it ought to drive him nuts knowing that I'm not reading or getting angry at his shitposts.

I'd say that's projection on your part. I could care less about whether you get mad at anything I post or not, because I'm not a troll, I just have different opinions than you. Since you apparently can't handle that (by your own admission of how filled with anger you are), it's probably for the best that you put me and all the other thought criminals on ignore. Oh wait, you can't read this, whatever will I do?

Re: Democrats Want to Make Border Crisis Worse
This thread's a train wreck and has long gotten off-topic, so I'm going to close it. There's another thread about the border issue open if people still want to talk about it. And I mean actually talk about it.Admiral X wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2019 12:26 am I'd say that's projection on your part.
