Well, it should be obvious by now I have serious issues with male guilt. And yeah, I kind of reject all cultural norms when it comes to male stereotypes. So... do with that what you will.

Honestly the "male guilt" thing is probably a big part of where your person issues stem from. It's very unhealthy. Kind of like someone who isn't heterosexual being made to feel ashamed over it because of religion.

Well, I've read what certain men have done.

There's a reason, and it all has to do with our outdated gender roles, in other words, all ties back to sexual desire somehow. Just... really wish someone could purge that from our genes.
Are you sure there is not a significant number of mothers chasing their own sons into suicide? You think female prisons are all chill relaxed places?

The difference here is that gender differences are separate from the other divisions we have, it's tied into sexual desire, and yet... if I was at a party and accidentally walked into a room and saw a guy penetrating an unconscious girl, well... I'd call the police. That's rape. And it's something we need to stop. Yes, men can do better. But the bystander effect is well ingrained into the human condition and when you throw in gender roles, well, that's where things get nasty - especially with peer pressure.

No. But gender roles are awful and society has in the past shielded and protected the worst kind of men because they were biased in their favor, or expected so little of them.
