Actually bothering to read and understand the stuff you're talking about, for one? If you read only the abstract of a 20 page report and then make a 45 minute rant based off that (something Sargon has done multiple times) then you deserve to be called dishonest at best and a complete jackass at worst.

Like I said, I agree/disagree with Sargon's actual stance depending on the topic, so this isn't about whether or not his viewpoints line up with mine. Regardless of the topic he's almost always ill-informed and dishonest.

Considering how many US legislators apparently don't even bother to read the bills they are voting on, a 45 minute misinformed rant seems pretty harmless by comparison. And if he manages to get elected and acts the same way, I guess he'd hardly be unique in that regard.

Cute comparison, but not really applicable (along with some seasoning of whataboutism). I don't reasonably expect American senators to read bills that are potentially hundreds to thousands of pages long, especially if it involves fields of expertise that they aren't familiar with, in which case even if they did read them it might not even help that much (that's another important point- Sargon constantly tries to talk about shit he clearly is not educated in, which would be fine if he put in the extra effort to make up for that). This is why its important for people in government to pick a strong staff who are able to digest this information and educate the Senator/Congressman/President accurately so they make informed decisions. What Sargon does when he makes his videos is essentially what said staff would be doing for a legislator, except Sargon would be fucking terrible at his job because he's so intellectually lazy that he can't be bothered to read more than 2 paragraphs before putting the material down.

If Sargon had staff that actually read the things he talks about (or, you know, he did some rudimentary research on a topic before opening his mouth) and then reports on those findings, then I wouldn't give him as much shit on not reading stuff properly (If he got stuff wrong he deserves shit regardless though). Sargon ostensibly makes videos about digested information, but proceeds to instead lower the quality of discourse by spreading misinformation and out-and-out lies. Yes politicians can do this shit with their ads and whatnot too, but then, by all rights we should be shitting on those too (and we usually do).

I have no intention of defending him, but I also hate the mainstream press because I have seen how they operate too often. Because yes it'll be ''what he actually said'', but it will also be devoid of context. You can make anything sound like a speech from Satan by removing the connecting sentences. Not to mention the fact that the majority of our media is pro-feminist, pro-PC, and pro remain or soft Brexit; do you think they will treat an anti-feminist, hard Brexiter fairly?

I would say he raises considering other pundits who are seen as much as him.
