Are you of the impression that straight parade isn't an ironic response to gay pride parade? I'm willing to bet that nobody in history ever put straight and parade in a sentence together until gay parades came along.

The only problem I see with pride parades is that most of them seem to be being used as an excuse to showcase one's kinds rather than illustrating that one is a normal person you wouldn't know from anyone else. At least lately anyway.
