Cannibalism to Help Fight Climate Change

This is for topical issues effecting our fair world... you can quit snickering anytime. Note: It is the desire of the leadership of SFDebris Conglomerate that all posters maintain a civil and polite bearing in this forum, regardless of how you feel about any particular issue. Violators will be turned over to Captain Janeway for experimentation.

Every taboo has a practical reason behind it. Pork? turns out we and pigs share an incredible number of diseases. Shellfish? I think Steve Mould just made a video on why they can be a bad idea? Homosexuality? turns out exclusive same sex relationships never end up in kids so the tribe can't continue. Eating other humans? You know those pigs with their many compatible diseases with us humans? yeah, turns out the diseases other humans carie are 100% compatible with us. Oh, but you can cook the meat... true, you just can't cook prions.

Also, fun fact, any of you nice people know why slavery is actually illegal? I mean it's illegal world wide and even indentured servitude is frowned upon. Well, let me tell you why, because there is no system that has ever legalized it that didn't end up being abused. Oh, let's just legalize it for debters, allow the poor to wager their freedom of business ventures... oops, it seems we just made slavery hereditary. And in today's environment, where he have things like organ transplants? If slavery was still legal today we wouldn't have plantations and construction projects manned by slaves, we'd have organ farms where slaves were bred just for their organs.

Sure, let's legalize canibalism, it's not like we're legalizing murdering people for their meat... what's that, death row inmates will now be killed in ways that make sure their meat can be eaten? what's that again, the death penalty has become the de facto penalty for most crimes? what's that again-again, most human meat is not coming from the prison sector?

As long as you don't attempt to impose some sort of homosexual only society homosexuality should be legalized, since the alternative is discriminating against people at best - at worst... I think stoning is the preferred way to deal with homosexuals in muslim countries. As long as you cook you meat right and a vet checks the animals before they're slaughtered meat eating should be ok. But some things like slavery, canibalism, pedophilia.... maybe, just maybe we should keep them on the illegal side... and have the proponents rot in jail for the rest of their lives.
If Chuck or a mod reads this feel free do delete my account. I would do it myself but I don't seem to be able to find a delete account option. phpBB should have such an option but I guess this isn't stock phpBB.

Just don't touch the grey matter, that's how Mad Cow happened.
I want nothing to do with any grey matter. Ask anyone. :D
