I didn't vote for London Breed and she's not my mayor. Why should I care about what she says?

Fair enough, but in that case why did you care about the UK's Freedom Day enough to make a thread about it that included an hysterically paranoid accusation that the UK government was trying to kill as many people as possible?

That she sounds awfully libertarian when being held to rules she made for everyone else. It is an amazing bit of special pleading.McAvoy wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 3:47 amWhich is what exactly?Mickey_Rat15 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 11:04 amAgain, the operative quote:Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 7:19 am Hey man it's not my fault your party decided to declare war on public health measures during an airborne yiffing pandemic.
Maybe this is just a leftist trick to get y'all to NOT wear your masks so that Republican voters die faster. Ever think of that? At this rate, we can take back Texas.

Wut lol. What she was saying about taking it off to eat applies to everybody. She was speaking generally I’d very much bet.Mickey_Rat15 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 20, 2021 11:38 pmI think not.
If someone in a leaderhsip positon is going to set rules for everyone to follow, it is incumbent on them to strictly adhere to those rules, especially in public.
It’s a matter of how you enforce the rules, not just whether or not you have a mandate at all. Nobody is expected to be that tedious with their mask when you’re at a restaurant. It’s all within measurable and discernible risk, and isn’t effected by anal zero tolerance standards.

Because UK viral strains frequently make it to the USA shores, so it affects me. Also because if I pass up an opportunity to complain about or mock the marmite-suckers there's a good chance I am medically dead.Mickey_Rat15 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 2:06 pm Fair enough, but in that case why did you care about the UK's Freedom Day enough to make a thread about it that included an hysterically paranoid accusation that the UK government was trying to kill as many people as possible?
