Fair enough. I wasn't arguing this time, I've just never heard that word before. Surely though it is a bit redundant to say that you are both allosexual and heterosexual. How can you be assexual but also experience sexual attraction only to the same sex? That just sounds like someone who is trying to make celibacy complicated to me.

Fair enough. I wasn't arguing this time, I've just never heard that word before. Surely though it is a bit redundant to say that you are both allosexual and heterosexual. How can you be assexual but also experience sexual attraction only to the same sex? That just sounds like someone who is trying to make celibacy complicated to me.

I was trying to swap to "non-cishet" as an alternative to "LGBTQIA+" (often too clunky) or "Qu**r" (I don't believe in "reclaiming slurs). An asexual acquaintance on Twitter explained to me what "allosexual/alloromantic" was (the opposite of asexual/aromantic, yeah. The More You Know), so I started trying to make "non-cisallohet" a thing. It hasn't stuck, yet.

I've been including allosexual in my usual "Look, the right-wing in-group is MAYBE fifty people. They will want YOU dead, eventually, too", run on list of qualifiers, for sheer emphasis.
