Meanwhile Republicans are trying to kill an actual border control bill in congress that previously had bipartisan support because Dear Leader Trump told them to. Too worried Biden would get the credit apparently.

Until Trump dies, many will get on their hands and knees for him. The rest are RINOS.
I got nothing to say here.

According to the propaganda mills, we actually ARE, in MASSIVE convoys. And, specifically, only the ones with criminal records who will steal your job, take your wife/daughter, hook your son on drugs, and kill your pets. The usual "Mexico is actually Mordor"-type nonsense.McAvoy wrote: ↑Sat Jan 27, 2024 5:56 amRule of thumb whatever emotion you have that is raging at that moment tends to get magnified with drinking.Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Sat Jan 27, 2024 12:25 am Apparently, several other Governors have pledged their national guards to support Texas. Please tell me this isn't going to escalate further. ._. It's time for me to get off social media and go to the bar.
Anyway, this is just basically a political ploy to galvanize people to vote Republican because they will solve a problem that really isn't a big of a problem as they are making. Yes there is an issue at the border and we are still turning majority of them away. It's not like we are letting them in by the tens of thousands.

It's an old joke but: if a murdering drug dealing rapist stole your job, wtf did you do for a living?

My cousin once said something that always stuck with me. He used to work at a plant nursery, the place where they grow and then dig up plants from bushes to trees, haul them to some place to plant them. They also deliver all those heavy concrete lawn ornaments too. Anyway, they always struggle to find long term workers as the job is just too brutal for the body. But the ones that always stayed were the people south of the border. Everyone else would last at most a month.
I got nothing to say here.
